What is a health coach?
A Health Coach is a guide, a mentor, and a partner who supports and empowers individuals to take responsibility for their health and the achievement of their personal wellness goals.  Health Coaches assist clients with many areas of their lives including, but not limited to, weight management, digestion, cravings, sleep, energy, relationships, and stress management.  A Health Coach does NOT take the place of a medical practitioner.  A Coach does NOT diagnose, prescribe or treat conditions.  Instead a Health Coach encourages positive changes within client-driven wellness goals, complimenting the roles of health professionals and working harmoniously to develop strategies that enact real, sustainable, lasting lifestyle changes.
